MAS electronic patient care system leads the way

During the 2005-06 financial year, MAS introduced the Victorian Ambulance Clinical Information System (VACIS), the world's most sophisticated, integrated ambulance clinical data collection and information system.

The system has now been fully implemented not only throughout MAS, but across Victoria and is now in all Australian states except one.

Computerworld Magazine, the self professed voice of IT management recently published an article highlighting the nationwide benefits to come from this system.
