Single responders

MICA paramedics sometime work one-up in a fully equipped sedan vehicle. These are called single responder units and are particularly valuable in and around the busy Melbourne CBC.

We have a number of single responder vehicles in our fleet, including the Ford Territory and Holden Adventura. These vehicles provide paramedics with increased visibility because they are higher off the ground, and fulfil the need to mount a curb when traffic is heavy and road space is limited.
