Uniform

Paramedic’s are recognisable by their dark blue uniforms. There are however a few varieties and ways that the uniform can be worn.

The standard uniform is a dark blue shirt and pants.

                            

Blue overalls can also be worn and are useful at night time as the reflective tape increases their visibility.

                           

At night time or at large emergencies paramedics have to wear reflective vests.

                           

As the weather in Melbourne can get cool and wet during winter, paramedics can also wear a yellow reflective rain jacket or a warm dark blue polar fleece jacket.
