Paramedic Communications

An analogue radio, a mobile data terminal and paging system maintain communications with all ambulance resources, advising them of essential case details verbally and by pager message. Mobile data terminals have been introduced in MAS vehicles. In 2007 a new digital radio network will be introduced as part of a joint emergency services initiative. This new network will improve coverage and capacity.
