Apply Advanced First Aid (Occupational First Aid)
This is an advanced program designed for workplace First Aiders and those who manage First Aid facilities. The program covers a range of First Aid management issues for example, the Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Act and the 'First Aid in the Workplace ' Code of Practice, accident and First Aid records and personal hygiene techniques. The program also considers management of spinal injuries, poisons and hazardous chemicals, the administration of medications and also explores issues such as dealing with soft tissue injuries and fractures, burns and electric shock, exposure to extremes of temperature and advanced airway management.
