On-the-job training

The Metropolitan Ambulance Service employs paramedics in a range of clinical, management and training roles.

With further training and study you may become a:

• Clinical instructor
• Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedic
• Team manager

We also offer appropriately qualified employees the opportunity to undertake training in areas such as urban search and rescue, bicycle response, marine search and rescue and aeromedical rescue.
