Adult Retrieval Victoria (ARV) has replaced the Victorian Adult Retrieval and Coordination Service (VAERCS). 

As providers of adult retrieval and critical care services, we are responsible for:

• Providing expert critical care clinical advice by telephone
• Providing adult emergency retrieval services for time critical and critically ill patients
• Coordinating access to critical care beds

This statewide service is available 24 hours, 365 days a year.

We are managed by the Metropolitan Ambulance Service and work closely with their Air Ambulance Victoria department.
